CS-TMW - Airbus A320 - TAP Air Portugal - light red

CS-TMW was an Airbus A320 originally delivered to Air Luxor in 2002. From 2004 to 2024, it operated in TAP colours.

The CS-TMW gained prominence for being the first A320 to be modernised with sharklets, which reduce fuel consumption by around 4%. This was a significant milestone, as the wings of the previous A320s were not originally designed to accommodate sharklets. The modification therefore required extensive structural reinforcement of the wing.

In 2024, the aircraft was stored and subsequently scrapped as TAP began transitioning its fleet to the A320neo.
